Earth Day is celebrated on April 22. A symbolic date that encourages us to think about how we are leading life on Earth, and what can be done to minimize the environmental impacts that occur on a daily basis. In this sense, attitudes such as reducing the use of <\/span>car<\/span><\/a> and replacing them with bicycles can be a great help. For this reason, there are more and more bike racks in condominiums.<\/span><\/p>\n

The day was created by US senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970, when he called for a protest against global pollution. The event united more than 20 million people in support of the cause and, since then, the day has been set so that the whole world can reflect on the best ways to take better care of the environment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to awareness days like these, the environmental agenda has been even more discussed and respected, and many people are already moving to collaborate with the environment through simple everyday actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earth Day<\/span><\/h2>\n

From the 1990s onwards, all countries began celebrating this day and each year a different topic is put on the agenda. The topics are always about awareness, how to contribute to improving air quality, what can be done to respect and preserve the Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

In everyday life, everyone can contribute with simple actions that make a big difference to the environmental impact. The more people are encouraged to take actions that benefit the environment, the greater the positive results will be.<\/span><\/p>\n
